The Sales Support Representative works closely with Account Executives and customers to provide a customer experience that exceeds expectations. This role acts as the first point of contact for customers who call or walk in handling a variety of customer requests for both managed and house accounts. Successful and ambitious Sales Support Representatives will have the opportunity to transition into Account Executives in time.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with Account Executives to handle all customer requests including, but not limited to product information, quote requests, artwork, placing orders, order status inquiries and any other various customer needs.
- Handle inbound phone calls and email requests from all customers, assigned and house accounts.
- Assist walk in customers with product questions, creating quotes or orders, or with pickups.
- Identify opportunity with customers, assigned or not, and properly involve sales reps
- Create online team stores for customers to support company initiatives and customer needs.
- Other duties as requested
Required Skills
- Excellent communication via phone, email, and in person
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment adjusting priorities effectively
- Works well in a small business environment as a team player
- Understands technology and is able to learn systems and processes quickly
- Experience with apparel is a plus.
